British restaurant favourite Beefeater was in need of a UK-wide make-over. Owner Whitbread commissioned BBH to come up with a seriously meaty rebrand from the bottom up. As part of the gradual launch of the 'Moo and improved' Beefeater, a few test sites were selected to gauge opinion on the new look. It was our job to make the public aware of them.
To compliment the press ads placed in regional and local publications, I wrote some radio commercials to increase awareness. We were lucky enough to get comic actor Matt Berry to voice the ads - each based around the concept of 'saying thank you with steak'.
